David Fallows - Artist Welcome to the Painted Scotland Website! This is a website of David Fallows, Landscape Artist, who lives and works in Newtonmore, in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. An elected member of the Highland Council, and a member of the Cairngorms National Park Board, David has painted in Watercolour, Oils and Pastel for most of his life, and between 2000 and 2006 was the 'ghost painter' to Susan Hampshire, who played 'Molly MacDonald' in the worldwide hit TV series 'Monarch of the Glen'.

The site showcases both original paintings and an extensive series of limited edition prints from across Scotland - a land of ever-changing vistas of light and colour, full of history and heritage. An even wider range of paintings from around the Cairngorms National Park is available at our sister site SpiritOfCairngorms.com, which can be accessed via the 'Cairngorms' link above. Original Paintings are supplied packed flat and unmounted - both the actual size of the painting and the suggested framed size are given for each picture and a certificate of origin with biographical details, painting title and background information is supplied with each original.

Limited Edition Prints are supplied packed flat with rigid backing, unmounted in a convenient A4 (approx 11.75 x 8.5 inches) size, with a border, that is best mounted into a framed size of 14 inches x 11 inches of larger, or in a larger A3 size (17 inches x 11.75 inches with a border for framing to 20 x 16 inches or larger. All prints come with an individually numbered certificate with biographical details. Prints are produced to the highest conservation grade standards using 125 year plus lightfast inks and conservation grade 315gsm textured paper.
The range of prints is large and has been separated into themed 'galleries, accessed from the navigation at the top of each page - you can add items to your shopping cart at any time and continue to shop using these gallery links. A single gallery holds all the originals currently available. The navigation at the bottom of each page covers biographical details of the artist, links, terms and conditions and other useful bits of information and may also be accessed from every page.
