Welcome to the Painted Scotland Website! This is the new website of David Fallows, Landscape
Artist, who lives and works in Newtonmore, in the heart of the
Cairngorms National Park. A senior elected member of the Highland Council, and a
member of the Cairngorms National Park Board, David has painted in
Watercolour, Oils and Pastel for most of his life, and between 2000 and 2006
was the 'ghost painter' to Susan Hampshire, who played 'Molly MacDonald' in
the worldwide hit TV series 'Monarch of the Glen'. The site showcases both original paintings and an extensive series of limited edition prints of Scotland, and a few from further afield, celebrating the ever-changing light and special qualities of the landscape and architecture that is Scotland's finest asset. Original Paintings are supplied packed flat and unmounted - the actual size of the painting is given in the details and the suggested framed size is at least six inches larger all round, once mounted. A certificate of origin with biographical details, painting title and background information is supplied with each original. |

Edition Prints are supplied in an A3+ size of approximately 18 inches x 13
inches, that is best mounted into a framed size of 25.5 x 21 inches, or A4
size, best mounted to around 15 x 12 inches. These prints
are supplied unmounted but packed flat. Each is printed on Innova cold pressed rough fine art
conservation grade paper using Ultrachrome K3 inks that are lightfast
under normal conditions for in excess of 125 years. Each comes with an
individually numbered certificate with biographical details. Mounts are of
conservation grade acid free material and frames, where used, are solid wood as specified
by the fine art trade guild. Personal callers are welcome to contact me if
they wish to collect fully framed pictures - please allow a minimum of 14
days before your visit.
